Choosing the Fabric
For Egeo, Federica chose a viscose with a wavy-stripe print in shades of brown, rust and gold, just as warm in person as in photographs, but with a texture you can only fully appreciate by touch. The hand is soft, the drape fluid: a versatile fabric, equally at home on an autumn walk, an elegant dinner, or an event where you want to stand out with warmth and style.
Craftsmanship
Every Egeo cape is made in Italy, from fabric to finished garment: crafted piece by piece by the skilled hands of our artisan seamstress. Even the box it arrives in is made in Italy - a short supply chain, not just a slogan.
Unboxing
The cape arrives wrapped in tissue paper, itself protected by a second, softer layer to safeguard the fabric: a small unboxing ritual, designed with the same care as the garment it holds.

Each cape is made to order by our tailoring workshop when you place your order: delivery takes place in about 10 business days.
Shipping is always free, with insured express courier.
For orders shipped outside the European Union, local VAT and any customs duties are not included in this price: they are collected by the courier upon delivery.

Every Federica Mantelli cape is made entirely in Italy: the fabric — high-quality viscose or polyester — comes from Italian textile suppliers, the garment is hand-sewn by an artisan tailoring workshop in the province of Como, and even the box and packaging it arrives in are produced by Italian suppliers. A short, entirely Italian supply chain, from raw material to the last stitch — verified piece by piece, not a slogan.

Do not tumble dry - better to hang the garment on a hanger.
May be ironed at low temperature, max 110°C - ideally inside out or with a protective cloth over the fabric.
Always wash with similar colors to avoid color transfer.
