Choosing the Fabric
For Acquerello, Federica chose a viscose with a watercolor floral print, where turquoise, pink and magenta blend like brushstrokes on wet paper. In person, the color shades are even softer and less defined than in photographs. The hand is soft, the drape fluid: a romantic, radiant fabric, perfect for an outdoor lunch, a daytime event, a day when you want a delicate touch of color.
Craftsmanship
Every Acquerello cape is made in Italy, from fabric to finished garment: crafted piece by piece by the skilled hands of our artisan seamstress. Even the box it arrives in is made in Italy - a short supply chain, not just a slogan.
Unboxing
The cape arrives wrapped in tissue paper, itself protected by a second, softer layer to safeguard the fabric: a small unboxing ritual, designed with the same care as the garment it holds.

Every Federica Mantelli cape is made entirely in Italy: the fabric — high-quality viscose or polyester — comes from Italian textile suppliers, the garment is hand-sewn by an artisan tailoring workshop in the province of Como, and even the box and packaging it arrives in are produced by Italian suppliers. A short, entirely Italian supply chain, from raw material to the last stitch — verified piece by piece, not a slogan.

Do not bleach - no bleach or chlorine-based products.
Do not tumble dry - better to hang the garment on a hanger.
May be ironed at low temperature, max 110°C - ideally inside out or with a protective cloth over the fabric.
Always wash with similar colors to avoid color transfer.

La cosa che apprezzo è che le fantasie danno veramente identità ai vari modelli: non sembra di comprare semplicemente lo stesso capo in un altro colore. L’ho visto addosso a un’altra e l’ho voluto
Visto addosso a una ragazza durante una vacanza e le ho letteralmente chiesto dove l’avesse comprato 😅 Due settimane dopo avevo il mio Acquerello. Adesso capisco perché mi aveva detto che ne voleva un secondo. È allegro, leggerissimo e soprattutto non sembra il solito capo da spiaggia.

Bellissimo e soprattutto comodissimo. Io lo uso quasi sempre aperto, con shorts e top sotto. È diventato il mio “non so cosa mettermi” dell’estate.

Preso per Ibiza e alla fine l’ho indossato praticamente tutte le sere 😂 Acquerello è uno di quei capi che in foto sembrano particolari, ma indossati hanno proprio un altro effetto. Io sono alta 1,68 e avevo paura fosse troppo abbondante, invece cade benissimo. Promosso!
