Choosing the Fabric
For Serengeti, Federica chose a high-quality polyester with an olive green Animalier, dappled with black and lifted by small orange accents, a texture that in person has more depth and movement than it shows in photographs. The hand is soft, the drape fluid: a fabric that brings a wild touch to an elegant piece, perfect for an aperitivo, dinner with friends, an outing where you want a detail that gets noticed without overdoing it.
Craftsmanship
Every Serengeti cape is made in Italy, from fabric to finished garment: crafted piece by piece by the skilled hands of our artisan seamstress. Even the box it arrives in is made in Italy - a short supply chain, not just a slogan.
Unboxing
The cape arrives wrapped in tissue paper, itself protected by a second, softer layer to safeguard the fabric: a small unboxing ritual, designed with the same care as the garment it holds.

Every Federica Mantelli cape is made entirely in Italy: the fabric — high-quality viscose or polyester — comes from Italian textile suppliers, the garment is hand-sewn by an artisan tailoring workshop in the province of Como, and even the box and packaging it arrives in are produced by Italian suppliers. A short, entirely Italian supply chain, from raw material to the last stitch — verified piece by piece, not a slogan.

Do not bleach - no bleach or chlorine-based products.
Do not tumble dry - better to hang the garment on a hanger.
May be ironed at low temperature, max 110°C - ideally inside out or with a protective cloth over the fabric.
Always wash with similar colors to avoid color transfer.
Primo ordine arrivato e… non ero convinta. Bellissimo, ma pensavo di aver esagerato scegliendo Serengeti. L’ho provato di nuovo la sera con un total black sotto e ho completamente cambiato idea. Meno male che non ho fatto il reso! Ora è quello che metto quando voglio qualcosa di veramente particolare.

Non è per timide 😄 Serengeti si vede, eccome. Io adoro vestirmi con qualcosa che abbia personalità quindi per me è stato amore immediato. Con il total black sotto secondo me è il massimo.

Meno male che non l’ho reso
Primo ordine arrivato e… non ero convinta. Bellissimo, ma pensavo di aver esagerato scegliendo Serengeti. L’ho provato di nuovo la sera con un total black sotto e ho completamente cambiato idea. Meno male che non ho fatto il reso! Ora è quello che metto quando voglio qualcosa di veramente particolare.
