Choosing the Fabric
For Smeraldo, Federica chose a solid petrol green viscose, a jewel-tone color that in person shifts slightly between green and blue depending on the light, without ever losing intensity. The hand is soft, the drape fluid: a fabric worn with confidence, perfect for an evening event, an important dinner, an occasion where you want a color that speaks for itself.
Craftsmanship
Every Smeraldo cape is made in Italy, from fabric to finished garment: crafted piece by piece by the skilled hands of our artisan seamstress. Even the box it arrives in is made in Italy - a short supply chain, not just a slogan.
Unboxing
The cape arrives wrapped in tissue paper, itself protected by a second, softer layer to safeguard the fabric: a small unboxing ritual, designed with the same care as the garment it holds.

Shipping is always free, with insured express courier.
For orders shipped outside the European Union, local VAT and any customs duties are not included in this price: they are collected by the courier upon delivery.

Every Federica Mantelli cape is made entirely in Italy: the fabric — high-quality viscose or polyester — comes from Italian textile suppliers, the garment is hand-sewn by an artisan tailoring workshop in the province of Como, and even the box and packaging it arrives in are produced by Italian suppliers. A short, entirely Italian supply chain, from raw material to the last stitch — verified piece by piece, not a slogan.

Do not tumble dry - better to hang the garment on a hanger.
May be ironed at low temperature, max 110°C - ideally inside out or with a protective cloth over the fabric.

Il colore fa tutto il look
Mio marito mi ha detto che sembravo pronta per andare a Saint-Tropez. Eravamo a cena a Monza, ma accetto comunque il complimento 😂 Smeraldo è elegantissimo e ha un colore che fa veramente tutto il look. Tacchi o sandali bassi, per me funziona con entrambi.

Smeraldo sotto le luci della sera è meraviglioso. L’ho indossato per il compleanno di mio marito in un ristorante sul lago e nelle fotografie rende tantissimo. Elegante ma non “da cerimonia”, che era esattamente ciò che volevo.
