Choosing the Fabric
For Laguna, Federica chose a viscose with a tie-dye effect that fades from yellow through aqua green to teal, a play of color that, in person, shifts in intensity depending on how the light falls on the fabric. The hand is soft, the drape fluid: a sunny fabric, perfect for daytime, able to light up a day at the beach, a summer aperitivo, a holiday where you want a color that gets noticed.
Craftsmanship
Every Laguna cape is made in Italy, from fabric to finished garment: crafted piece by piece by the skilled hands of our artisan seamstress. Even the box it arrives in is made in Italy - a short supply chain, not just a slogan.
Unboxing
The cape arrives wrapped in tissue paper, itself protected by a second, softer layer to safeguard the fabric: a small unboxing ritual, designed with the same care as the garment it holds.

Every Federica Mantelli cape is made entirely in Italy: the fabric — high-quality viscose or polyester — comes from Italian textile suppliers, the garment is hand-sewn by an artisan tailoring workshop in the province of Como, and even the box and packaging it arrives in are produced by Italian suppliers. A short, entirely Italian supply chain, from raw material to the last stitch — verified piece by piece, not a slogan.

Se avete una vacanza in barca, portate Laguna. Io praticamente vivevo con costume, questo sopra e occhiali da sole. La sera aggiungevo shorts o pantaloni bianchi e andavo direttamente a cena. Non sono una che porta cinquanta outfit in vacanza e questo mi ha risolto parecchio.
